Obituary of Anita Franco

Our beloved Anita Franco, age 60, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents: Rafael Sr. & Maria Garcia; daughter, Laura Anne Torres; sister, Maria Chavez; brothers, Macario H. Garcia, Felimon Garcia, and Rafael Garcia Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 28yrs.: Angel Franco; daughter, Maria I. Evans and husband Bobby; sons, Lee A. Torres and Kerri Meintz, and Claudio Torres Jr. and wife Stephanie; brothers, Augustine H. Garcia, Pablo H. Garcia, and Johnny H. Garcia; sisters, Rafaela De Leon, Rachel Mendez, Lupe Guzman, Maria Dolores Villarreal, Janie Garcia, and Teresa Garcia; Grandchildren: 16; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St. with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00pm at Los Angeles Funeral Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00am , August 7, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 624 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, TX.  Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Reedville, Texas. Rev. Father  will officiate. 

Pallbearers: Claudio Torres Jr., Isaac Evans, Bobby Evans, Allen J. Allen, Darius Lee Torres, and Greg Espinoza.
