Obituary of Mary C. Serna

Our beloved Mary C. Serna, age 77, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 24, 2017.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55yrs.: Antonio G. Serna Jr.; sons: Antonio Serna III, Anthony Contreras, and Robert (Bobby) Rabideau; parents, Jovencio & Matilda Camacho; brothers, Robert (Bobby) Camacho, and Jovencio (Junior) Camacho.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Helen Serna-Reyes (Steven); sons, Henry (Hank) Serna, RIK Serna, and Atanacio (Tano) Serna; daughter in laws, Rosalinda Contreras and Ida Serna; sisters, Dora Mendez (Joe), Eloisa Morin (Tony), Norma Baez (Angel), and Martha Villarreal; brothers, Richard Camacho (Emma), Michael Camacho, and Gilbert Camacho (Sylvia); sister in law, Lala Serna; Grandchildren, Valorie Reyes, Marissa Moraga, Taylor Serna, Catherine Serna, Stephanie Rodriguez, Noah Reyes, Michael Serna, Ryan Serna, Joey alvarez, and Conrad Alvarez; great grandchildren, Rudy Almendarez III, Faith Rodriguez, Jordan Rodriguez; Emma Serna, and Aerabella Serna; special close friend of the family whom she adored Gloria Mejia; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Los Angeles Funeral Home …300 Cheatham St. ….San Marcos, TX. ….Visitation will resume from 6:00pm-9:00pm with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 624 Hopkins … in San Marcos, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate.  Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in, Martindale, Texas.

Pallbearers: Valorie Reyes, Marissa Moraga, Taylor Serna, Catherine Serna, and Stephanie Rodriguez.

Honorary: Noah Reyes, Michael Serna, Ryan Serna, Joey Alvarez,Conrad Alvarez, and Rudy Almendarez III.
