Our beloved Adelita Pompa, age 57, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Adelita is preceded in death by her father: Nicolas R. Pompa. Adelita had an amazing spirit. She enjoyed puzzles, watching movies and volunteering at the Public Library. She also loved to sing and dance. Adelita was definitely the life of the party and her smile brightened up any room. She is survived by her mother: Anita Garcia Rodriguez; sister: Emma P. Villanueva (Eddie); brothers: Nicolas G. Pompa, Jr., Erasmo G. Pompa and Hector G. Pompa; Nieces: Genevieve Dean, Kristina Villa, Selena Salinas, Patricia Pompa, Crystal Rodriguez, Rebecca Tello and Elizabeth Pompa; nephew: Nicolas Pompa III; great nieces: 6, great nephews: 12; great, great niece: 1; great, great nephew: 1: and with other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2024 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home ... 300 Cheatham St. ... San Marcos, Texas. Old Spanish Trail ... Uhland, Texas for Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12:00 p.m.. Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate. Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery in Uhland, Texas.
