Our beloved Anastacio R. Avalos, age 87, resident of Martindale, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Anastacio is preceded in death by his parents: Cresencio, Sr. & Julia Avalos, brothers: Cresencio Avalos Jr. and Apolinar “Paul” Avalos; sisters: Julia Torres, Louisa Martinez, Antonia Reyes, Loretta Alvarez and Petra Contreras; son in law: Jose Guadalupe Gonzales, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 63yrs.: Isabel Avalos; daughters: Irene A. Gonzales and Teresa A. Cordero; sons: Anastacio Avalos, Jr. (Debbie) and Gerardo Avalos (Connie); sisters: Anita Sambrano and Estella Alvarez; brothers: David Avalos, Valentine Avalos, Pedro Avalos and Frank Castilleja; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; loving pets: Carmelita & Curly and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2024 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Los Angeles Funeral Home, followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E.
