Our beloved Cleto Luera, age 94, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 1, 2019. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather but to us he was dad. He was the one who always made a friend no matter where he went and always greeted people with "Hello my friend!" He had a love for baseball and had the biggest cap collection. He had a great sense of humor and a love for Spanish music, being his favorite "Flaco Jimenez". We were blessed to have had him in our lives for 94yrs. We will miss you dad and you will be forever in our hearts. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65yrs.; Carmen Luera; grandson, Drake Luera; great grandchildren. Evan Bueno and Emma Bueno; parents; Eufrasio & Daria Luera. He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Martinez and husband Luis, Dora Gonzalez and husband Joe; sons, Gilbert Luera and wife Lucy, Pete Luera and wife Mary; sister, Maria Martinez; Grandchildren, Mark Luera, Darren Luera, Amanda Bueno, Valerie Gonzalez, Cindy Munoz, Carol Haynes, and Ricky Martinez; great grandchildren, Lorelei Luera, Garrett Luera, Mallory Torres, Ryann Torres, Ava Luera, Dannah Luera, Margot Luera, Hailey Solis, Landon Munoz, Everly Haynes, Nia Haynes, Arianna Martinez, and Ezra Martinez and with many more loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church ... 310 Lockhart St. ... Martindale, Texas. Recitation of Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m., Morning visitation will begin at 8:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am ... Rev.
