Our beloved Elias Perez, age 62, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Elias is preceded in death by his parents: Alejandro & Margarita Perez; brothers: Juan Perez and Paul Perez. Elias “Lee” Perez went Home to the Great Creator wrapped in love and integrity on September 22, 2024, He was born to Alejandro Perez and Margarita Eureste on February 15, 1962. Lee was more than a father, brother, uncle and friend … he was a beacon of unconditional love for anyone he ever met. Whether you were a stranger or someone close to him, he did his best to make you laugh, make you dance or make you remember what it was like to truly live. He was such a beautiful example of what it means to “love thy neighbor.” He was the one to give anything he could to help anyone in need. I am grateful he had the chance in this life to share his heart with everyone. May he live in our hearts forever. So whether you’re watching the Cowboys play on Sunday night, or you’re listening to some good ol’ Disco music, or Tejano music just remember he will be right there beside you rooting the Cowboys on and dancing. He is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Leeann Perez; son: Alejandro Perez; mothers of his children: Adel Patlan and Diana DeLeon; brothers: Mike Perez, Martin Perez and Rudy Perez; sisters: Janie Rodriguez, Epifania DeLeon and Gloria Cervantez; granddaughter: Kristian Nicole Gonzalez; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will begin from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2023 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home ... 300 Cheatham St. ... San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Los Angeles Funeral Home followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins St.. … San Marcos, Texas. Memorial Services will be celebrated at a later date.
