Our beloved Jesus "Jesse" Velasquez Jr., age 46, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, August 22, 2022. Jesse is preceded in death by his grandparents: Epifanio & Ofelia Velasquez; and maternal grandmother: Catarina Ybarra. He is survived by his daughters: Alexis Velasquez-Juarez (Martin), Jessalyn Jaimes and Zerika Jaimes; son: Xavier Jaimes; father: Jesse Velasquez (Susie); mother: Santitos Ybarra; brothers: JJ Garza and Jason Velasquez (Chelsea); sister: Jessica Robledo (Raul); grandchildren: Isaiah Juarez, Lyla Rae Juarez, Jesse Juarez and a grandson on the way; nieces: Hailey Ray Velasquez and Mercedes Robledo; nephew: Alex Robledo, and other family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church ... 624 E. Hopkins ... San Marcos, Texas.
