Miguel Trejo Obituary (2025)

Miguel “Mike” Trejo went home to our heavenly father on February 9, 2025. Mike was born to Maximo and Virginia F. Trejo on July 21, 1933. He had 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Mike was happily married to Virginia Trejo who was his partner in life for almost 50 years. Mike is survived by his wife, 3 children of their own. 4 children through a previous marriage, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mike was a hardworking man, he took pleasure in his landscaping he enjoyed doing so much. He always made sure his household and family were always taken care of. After work he use to pull up to the house honking and the grandkids always knew to jump in his truck bed. It was always joy to his heart watching them run out to his truck. Mike loved family gatherings, listening to Spanish music, dancing and playing washers while enjoying his beer. Mike was a man of not so many words but expressed himself through his actions of kindness, having a big heart, always willing to help others. Mike loved going to Golden Coral (after heart Appointment) His favorite food was beef enchiladas and chicken potpie. He loved meatloaf from Crackle Barrel. Mike will be deeply missed but never forgotten due to his legacy living in us. Visitation will begin from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home ... 300 Cheatham St. ... San Marcos, Texas. Morning Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Los Angeles Funeral Home then followed with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am at St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church … 801 Burleson St. … Kyle, Texas. Interment to follow at San Miguel Cemetery in Uhland, Texas. Serving as Pallbearers: Juan Maximo Trejo, Christina Trejo, Roger Trejo, John Rangel, Alex Rangel and Christopher Salas.
