Our beloved mother, Pauline Hernandez, age 88, of San Marcos, Texas was called home by our Heavenly Father on August 12, 2024. She was born on June 22, 1936 to Fidencio Gonzales and Benita Ortiz. Pauline was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved music. Dancing and having family get-togethers. She was dedicated to her family and invested in the raising of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever loved and missed and will always cherish our memories and time with her. We love you, mom. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband: Ramiro Hernandez, Sr.; parents: Fidencio and Benita Gonzalez; sons: Ramiro Hernandez, Jr. and Felix Hernandez, Sr.; daughters: Irene Hernandez and Fidela Hernandez; grandchildren: Paul Hernandez, Jr. and Yvette Natal; great grandson: Michael Hernandez, Jr.; siblings: Juanita Gonzales, Heron Gonzales, Natalia Gonzales, Clara Hiracheta, Nicanor Gonzales, Juan Gonzales and Martha Villanueva. She leaves behind her adoring family sons: Paul, Sr. Hernandez (Maria) and Steven, Sr. Hernandez (Frances); daughters: Margie Luera (Joe), Esther Natal, Rachel Hernandez and Norma Pelayo (Eric); siblings: Petra Gonzales and Joe Gonzales; 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2024 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00pm, at Los Angeles Funeral Home … 300 Cheatham St. … San Marcos, Texas.
