I am a safety trainer at Texas State University. I knew JP because he attended my trainings. But, what I remember most about him was his smile. He was always friendly, courteous and happy. He once offered to see if he could track down a used golf cart at the university that I could use to travel across campus to do my trainings every month; instead of using my own car. That's just the kind of caring he showed everyone. He will be missed by all the people whose lives he touched. My sympathies and prayers to his family.
The words do not come easily. JP has always been such a sweet soul. I knew him growing up, and became friends again, working for Texas State University. JP was always kind and helpful. He will be missed.
