Obituary of Dominga C. Perez

Our beloved Dominga C. Perez, age 85, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 28, 2019. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Manuel Perez Alvarado; parents: Abraham & Maria Enedina Cura Mendez; sister, Maria Nicolasa Cura Vasquez; brother in law. Osvaldo Zapata; and grandson in law, Eder Garcia Sosa.

Mom was very strong in faith, when asked to pray for someone in need, she would immediately intercede in prayer until God would answer her prayer.  We want to share one of her favorite Bible verse that she loved.

Proverbs 31:30

The grace is deceitful; and beauty falls.  The woman who fears Jehovah, that will be praised.

Enganosa es la gracia, y vana la hermosura; La mujer que teme a Johova, esa sera alabada.

She is survived by her daughter, Aida P. Alvarado and husband Joel; sister, San Juana Cura Zapata; brother, Inocencio Cura Alvarado and wife Maria; brother in law, Lauriano Vasquez; grandchildren, Joel Alvarado Jr., Crystal Lee Garcia, and Yvonne Lee Alvarado; great grandchildren, ZoeRyan Ezra Garcia, Zaydriel Noel Garcia, Lazarus Eleazar Alvarado, Jose Manuel Alvarado; and with many more loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2019 with a Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m., Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2019 at Los Angeles Funeral Home … Pastor Joel Alvarado will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
