Our beloved Tom Rejino, age 61, resident of Kyle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Hortencia M. Rejino; grandparents, Vicente & Concepcion Martinez; uncle, Sergio Martinez; aunts, Rosalina Hernandez and Donaciana Ruiz. Tom honored his family and country serving the United States Army from 1977 – 1985. He then retired from the University of Texas at Austin after 25yrs. due to his long illness. He is survived by his brother, Juan Jose Rejino; sisters, Gloria Hernandez & Marcos Jr., Irene Espinoza & Ignacio, and Sylvia Quintero & Henry Jr.; nephews, Marcos Hernandez III & Allison, Edward Espinoza & Cindy, Eric Hernandez & Rosalinda,and Henry Quintero III; niece, Tyra Lynn Quintero & fiancée Zach Roberman; and many more loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas, with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas, Rev. Father Jairo Lopez will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas with Full Military Honors.
