Our beloved Maria Sanchez, age 84, resident of San Marcos was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50yrs., Antonio Sanchez Sr.; daughters, Angie Sanchez, Gloria Garza; parents, Benito & Narcisa Lopez; brother, Jovel Lopez, Andres Lopez; sister, Margie Lopez-Martinez; and grandson, Enrique Perez. Maria was a caring & loving person who enjoyed eating hot dogs from the Chili Dog Stand her true passion was going to church and serving the Lord. But nothing meant more to her than her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. We thank the Lord for giving her to us for as long as we had her…”We Love You!” Her legacy and spirit, will always continue through us, we will miss you, but will never be forgotten in our hearts. She is survived by her sons, Antonio Sanchez Jr.and wife Leticia and David Alonzo Sr.; grandchildren, Virginia Cantu, Johnny Alonzo, David Alonzo Jr., Josh Alonzo, Elias Alonzo, Raquel Alonzo, Christina Perez, Cindy Garza, Amanda Garza, and Rosie Garza; great grandchildren, 11; and with other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 4:00p.m - 9:00p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 with a Prayer Service starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Chapel Service will be starting at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Los Angeles Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery, in Prairie Lea, Texas.
