Our beloved Angelita Hernandez Quiroz, age 90, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 10, 2020. Angelita was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54yrs., Francisco Quiroz; parents, Isaac & Priciliana Hernandez; brothers, Enrique Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Vicente Hernandez, Socorro Garcia and Eulalio Garcia Sr.; sisters, Manuela Cruz-Ibarra, Maria Garcia, Georgia Silguero, Consuelo Garza and Chavela Rodriguez. Angelita will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and her Catholic Faith. After having raised her children and helping raise many of her grandchildren, she dedicated her adult life to serving God through his church, St. John’s Catholic Church, San Marcos, Texas. At St. John’s, she was an active member of many organizations such as, Eucharistic Minister to the Home-Bound, servicing during Masses with the Arco Iris Choir, the Legion of Mary, the Archicofradia, the St. John’s Charismatic Prayer group and the Crusada de Rosario group. She loved taking the Rosary to people’s homes to share not only her devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, but also her love of sharing the Word of God and singing songs of Praise to God. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Farrington, Angie Martinez (Gilbert), Beatrice Natal, and Gloria Quiroz (Raymond Guerrero); son, Frank J. Quiroz (Maria); brothers, Frank Garcia and Trinidad Garcia; grandchildren, 8; great grandchildren, 3; great, great grandchildren, 2; and with other loving family and friends. DUE TO COVID-19 ...
