Obituary of Eleasar "Eddie" Balboa

Please share a memory of Eleasar "Eddie" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved Eleasar “Eddie” Balboa, age 54, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Eleasar was preceded in death by his father: Jesus Balboa Sr.; mother: Enedina Martinez: and brother: Jesus Balboa Jr. My father was an amazing man, a great father, an even better grandfather and my best friend. If I ever called him, he would answer, if I ever needed him, he was always there. He had so much love and admiration for his family especially his grandchildren, all he ever wanted to do was make them smile. There was nothing he couldn’t fix and he taught us the importance of being able to get something done however you could with what you have. My dad could make conversation with anybody like he’s known them for years, he had a certain comfort to his presence and I’m so honored and grateful to have had such a kind spirit knitted my God as my father. "World's greatest grandpa" & father is the best way to describe our beloved Eddie. A man full of the purest integrity, such a gentle soul who was always ready to help those in need. Eddie was a true handyman from Heaven & there was nothing he couldn't do! His pride and joy were his 7 grandchildren and his children. He adored his "high school sweetheart" who would later become his forever love and wife for over 31 years. Though his time seemed short lived here on earth we are honored God allowed our family and his friends to love on him for 54 years. His grandchildren describe him as : " He was just awesome, charming, a really laid back sleepy head who loved hanging out with us" -Zeus " He was always there for everyone especially grandma, I loved how he made us feel safe. His slow drives in the car were the best, I loved when he would drive us around. We will miss him & we all love him very much" -Gemini "He was so caring & protective, & was always cooking something. He loved showing us new places, just taking us for drives He was the best grandpa to have he was friendly and nice. He was the best person to hang out with." -Alyna “He was a very fun person to be around with and you could always talk to him, you would feel like yourself around him, he was a role model and would always try his best to tell us what is right from wrong. He would always be up to do anything that would put a smile on our faces. He would try to be as brave as he could with anything that got in his way. He would try to help with as much as he could around the house and around our towns. He was a great grandpa and just a great person in general. No matter what he/the family was going through he would always find a way to make it work” -Izabella "He was a great role model & everyone looked up to him. We all trusted him and he loved making people laugh" -Jr. "Dont worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus" -Philippians 4:6-7 . He is survived by his wife of 31yrs.: Cynthia Balboa; daughters: Kasey Balboa and Amy Balboa; son: Sean Balboa; grandchildren: Alyna, Izabella, Carley, Zeus, Rick “Chuck” Jr., Gemini and Theseus: sisters: Margarita Galindo, Marina DeLeon and Rosa Isela Balboa; supportive guardian family: Marina Avila, Rosa Delacruz, Romelia Jaime, Joe Balboa and Hilda Lopez; his guardian mother: Oralia “ama” Balboa and with other family members and friends.
