Our beloved Elias Hernandez, age 61, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
Elias is preceded in death by his loving parents: Manuel G. & Rafaela Hernandez; and sister: Anita Perales.
He is survived by his brothers: Manuel R. Hernandez Jr. (Abelee), Fernando Hernandez (Yolanda) and Alfredo Hernandez; sisters: Adelina Flores (Herman), Lucia Hernandez and Teresa Fontaney (John); and with numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., July 12, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church … 624 E. Hopkins … San Marcos, Texas. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in San Marcos, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers: Daniel Hernandez, Jeffrey Flores, Cristian Hernandez, Carlos Rodriguez, Juliano Hernandez and John Manuel Fontaney.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers: Ruben Rodriguez, Brandon Flores, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Noah Hernandez and Joe Gonzales.
