Our beloved Maria de Socorro Flores Montanez, age 70, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Maria is preceded in death by her parents: Ernesto & Leonor Flores; brothers: Eddie Flores and Carmelo Flores. Maria was always a kind soul. She enjoyed walking into a room and making everyone else laugh with jokes, silly faces, and just random nicknames she gave everyone. Additionally, she enjoyed having all the grandkids over on the weekends and letting the parents have time off. The sunlight was one of her favorite things having all the windows and doors wide open no matter how hot it was outdoors. Momma always had her music as loud as possible and loved her Univision and Telemundo shows at all hours of the day. She was truly a caring family lady, great friend, and religious women. She loved to praise the lord and we know she is in heaven watching over all the people in her life. May she Rest In Peace and we love you mom, grandma, sister, titi and friend. She is survived by her daughters: Danet Rios (Fernando Garcia) and Mary Rios; son: Joel Santos Rodriguez; brothers: 7; sisters: 1; grandchildren: Daylin Beccacio (Andrew), Stephanie Rios, Karina Rios, Fernando Rios Jr., Yandeliz Renteria, Jose Trujillo, Rossley Trujillo and Nicolas Trujillo; great grandchildren: 10; and with other family members and friends.
