Obituary of Edward Vasquez

Our beloved brother, uncle and friend Edward “Fish” Vasquez, age 51, resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and former resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Edward is preceded in death by his father: Augustin Vasquez Jr.; mother: Fidela Longoria; brother: Augustin Vasquez; sister: Louisa Vasquez and nephew: Elias Vasquez. Edward was well known as “Fish” to all who knew him, He was a longtime childhood friend who was a brother to the Alvarez family for 48yrs. He followed Larry Alvarez to Oklahoma City and recited in his forever home until the Lord called him home. You will be missed Edward “Fish” Vasquez, until we meet again my friend. He is survived his sister: Gina Marie Vasquez (Danny), Nieces: Jennifer Arredondo (Frank) and Erica Hernandez (Rudy Morales); nephew: Jeremy Hernandez; longtime childhood friend of 48yrs/: Larry Alvarez (Lucinda), Richard Alvarez (Erica) and Israel Alvarez III (Lupita) Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. John Catholic Church … 624 E.
